De Hoedenmaker‘ [The Hatter] is an exceptional beautiful holiday house. It is located in the heart of Bruges and is an official *** licenced holiday home. The facade is built in the traditional stepped-gable style that is typical of the finest Flemish houses. It is a charming and elegant house built in 1675. Located in the peaceful and quiet residential area of Saint-Gilles quarter, about 400 m north of the medieval centre of the city and less than 10 minutes walk to the Market Square and the Belfry tower. ‘De Hoedenmaker’ is a three-story house with a total of 110 square metres living area, completely furnished. The kitchen includes a full complement of cooking utensils and cutlery. Large, comfortable beds ensure a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

The house faces south and takes in plenty of sun throughout the year. It also has a private walled-in terrace. You will love this relaxing resort and immediately feel at home.

‘De Hoedenmaker’ is situated in the centre of the city of Bruges. Getting there however is not that difficult. Bruges is an ancient city with small streets. Getting around by car is not necessary and sometimes it makes you nervous. However, all places are at walking distance.

  • Easiest: Park save and free near Police station. Walk your way back (1.3km) or take bus n° 2 every 10 min. (€ 2,5/pp)
  • Leave your car at the Parking near the railway station (€ 6.10/day + free bus tickets 4 persons)
  • Leave your car close to your holiday home ‘De Hoedenmaker’ (€ 14/max. 4 hour from 9-20 hr., city centre, free from 8pm-9am)
